With faculty committed to performing, the mission of SSMA is to provide participants opportunities to develop and grow musically and culturally. SSMA offers participants the unique opportunity to serve as musical ambassadors of their country, giving their friendship and musical gifts in return for hospitality shown through the citizens of Siena, Andermatt-Switzerland and the hill towns of Tuscany.

Grow Musically and Culturally With Our International Summer Festival For Opera & Chamber Orchestra in
​Siena, Italy.​

 Instrumentalists and vocalists perform solo, and with small and large ensembles in concerts, master classes and workshops, all while living in Siena, Italy and studying with internationally renowned faculty. The SSMA Orchestra and Chorus travels to towns all around Tuscany, typically performing eight concerts around the region.
